Speed Math is software for learning arithmetic. The math software has been designed for ease of use, fast setup, and interactivity. Full audio-visual and multimedia features have been built into the program to make learning the basics of arithmetic an enjoyable learning experience for children. The kids' math games use a racing-game concept to teach the basic elementary mathematical concepts that appear very difficult for the beginner. Speed Math educational software changes the usual difficult and tedious learning experience with math and makes the subject easy to understand and grasp, by using a logical step-by-step process that is both interesting and fun to use for the average school-going child. The following are the features of Speed Math--five types of cars to race, excellent graphical scenery, unique questions through random number generation, and more than 100 levels of play. Version 3 includes unspecified updates.

This twist on a math quiz helps make arithmetic more fun; however kids may quickly lose interest due to the simple graphics and basic sounds. Speed Math uses a race car theme to teach math concepts. This program randomly generates math problems and users can select from five car types. The correct answers move the car step-by-step along a series of courses; if the answer is wrong the user can try again or move on to the next question. Functions include four problem types with several levels of difficulty. Even though the Problem Type menu lists addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as choices, the latter three are disabled in the trial version. This easy-to-use tool is targeted to small children, but changing the difficulty level from easy to hard produced questions with double digits that are more appropriate for older kids.
