Version: Sonic Click - Super Button Control 1.3
"Probably worth the $21 (£10 GBP)"
Pros: Gives you five or six button options - look better than standard VB - Easy to use once OCX installed - just select it from your component panel. The buttons don't eat up too much space if you keep them a resonable size.
Cons: If you have had the demo versions first - Watch Out -as the licenced version does not remove these. Is an easy mistake to select the demo OCX (they have the same name in VB).
If you check box the demo, as I did, you keep getting transferred to the author's web page while you are running your app.
(I also acquired a trojan during this process, from the website - Fortunately my security software picked it up and neutralised it.)
You need to remove all the demo versions from system32.
Only a few of the button properties can be changed - so you really only get the basic buttons. If I were putting together a larger project, I'd find a more comprehensive range with more flexible properties and spend a few more pounds err.. dollars.
