Even the most common financial decisions, from daily budgeting to buying a house, are often deeply complex. This download helps take some of the guesswork out of money matters, offering a set of detailed tools and calculators for a variety of financial questions. The first group is aimed strictly at calculations, helping users manage a daily budget, or figure out what kind of house they can afford. A second group of schedulers displays how interest accrues, or investments depreciate over the course of years. A third group of advisory tools can help users decide between types of loans, calculate whether leasing or buying is better, or whether refinancing a loan is worth the trouble. The program interface is somewhat amateurish, but we think the incredible wealth of information, advice, and financial reality checks offered here could certainly benefit almost anyone.

  Have used it for 6 years. Excellent.

  Pros: Complete. Covers almost all needed calculations. Factors in rate of inflation where needed. Good support.

  Cons: Needs new installation code when installing on another computer. Provided by Pine Grove after email.
