IconPackager is a desktop-enhancement utility that lets you change all the common icons used by Windows at once by applying "packages" of icons to them. You can download these packages at Web sites such as WinCustomize.com or create your own by replacing the icons of individual items on your computer one by one, then saving them as an icon package. It's very easy to use and has thousands of icons available in packages on the Net.

Version 3.2 adds support for Windows Vista icons including the new live folder icons.

Access to a seemingly infinite supply of icons sets IconPackager apart, though you'll have to look elsewhere if editing is a requirement. Applying icons by "packages" keeps things quick, and single icons can easily be swapped out of any package.

You won't be able to modify any of the icon art in your library, but you can download a variety of additional packages from the Web. IconPackager will satisfy most anyone with a desire to quickly customize shortcuts in her or his work space.

  Pros: rarely do i see a users review with 4 1/2 stars out of 5 for a software app.

  IconPackager deserves it - it is a simple and sweet program that continuously delivers - yeah!

  I don't trust Stardock anymore

  Pros: It has an uninstaller included in it

  Cons: first it was windowsblinds which had already made me lose my faith on stardock and now icon packager

  this software crashes my comp when i used an icon theme and screwed up most of the icons on my computer, later i found out that it has a repair icon feature but it forces you to buy the product to be able to use it! What a ****ty software! Luckily i found IconTweaker which fixed up all the icons on the desktop

  Pros: Looks cool, works well

  Cons: Decided not to bother with this one, it didnt really do what I wanted, as I would rather make more direct tweaks.
