What's worse than suffering through pictures of the family vacation? Well, how about assembling them on software that is neither functional nor pretty. SmartPicture lets you add dates, titles, and captions to digital images, as well as print them. Poorly placed menus and a clunky window design makes the program hard to use. Even though you can change the background or skin of the program, most options resemble moldy Naugahyde. (If you don't believe us, check out the screenshot.) The built-in picture viewer is useless, as it only displays images in small thumbnails or as full screen. Overall, there are better programs out there.
