From Programming Sunrise:Smart Diary Suite more than a simple diary or a PIM. It is a total personal information manager that can be as simple or as extensive as you want it to be. The diary itself has full formatting capabilities and voice recording, but the most unique feature is the customization, which allows you to monitor anything you want and give it additional meaning with a graphing function.
The diary offers you seven media for entering and viewing data, in addition to your daily diary text: Parameter Values, Voice, Finance, Drafts, Journal, E-mails, and Poetry. These categories are suggested headings and can be changed if you wish. Use parameters to track things like mood and health, which you can view in a graph. You can supplement the data collection in the Diary section by using the Scratch-pad, which offers you a further nine storage areas for temporary data you collect from time to time.

How organized do people have to be before they can use such a frightfully organized program? The answer, we fear, is frightfully organized. The Smart Diary Suite is intimidating in its intelligence, at least, for the disorganized among us. The application is divided into several sections: there's room for reminders, a daily planner, an address book, and a diary for nutrition as well as for financial information. There's even space for your poetry "in progress." It's a slick program, adopting the look and feel of a music player, and most functions are fairly easy to find. The reminder function worked well in our tests. Our only gripe is that such a robust program should be portable in some fashion (PDA or otherwise), so this information can always be at one's fingertips. If you have a busy home office, however, or live at the top of the A-type list, this is the organizer for you.
