Slim Browser is a powerful and compact tabbed browser with full unicode support. It includes pop-up blocker, automatic Web-form filler and spell checker. It let you open several sites at once with the support of site groups. It provides one-click access to search engines via pre-defined quicksearch entries. You can easily define your own quicksearch entries. It provides one-click access to personal accounts via predefined autologin entries. It supports URL filter and in-page ad filter which blocks annoying advertisements and offensive content effectively. It is able to render RSS new feeds into readable web pages. It support URL alias and built-in commands. It also supports ftp file uploading. The built-in ScriptPad is able to edit JScript / VBScript and HTML files with syntax highlighting. The program interface is fully skinnable and a large collection of skins are available for download.

Slim Browser brings you convenient and safe browsing. Version 4.09 build 006 adds support to run as mobile edition on a USB flash drive; adds searching capability to history and favorites; adds capability to hide browser; improved compatibility with IE7 and Windows Vista.

Every browser carves out its own niche. With extensive language support and the usual blend of tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking, and Web searching, Slim Browser offers a certain je ne sais quoi other browsers don't. The program installs quickly and seamlessly on your desktop. This browser is aesthetically pleasing and offers a number of skins for added flair. The interface is slightly jumbled with redundant buttons, but you can add and remove items you don't plan to use. The straightforward search bar gives you one-stop access to news, stock, and weather updates, as well as image and dictionary searching. You can choose from about 20 search engines, including Google, Yahoo, and MSN--just type in a search term, hit the button, and voila. A Clean Trace feature lets you easily erase your surfing history, browser cookies, and Internet cache. The desktop shortcut bar extends Windows Explorer functionality to your browser, and international users will be impressed with Slim Browser's extensive language support. The browser can be displayed in multiple languages and gives quick English translations for foreign-language pages. The pop-up blocker gets the job done, and you can even recall blocked pop-ups if you think you've missed something important. RSS and newsgroup support round out the package. If you're looking for an Internet Explorer alternative with a foreign flair, Slim Browser is for you.

  Pros: Tabbed browsing works great. Seems to load fast and any website that works with IE also seems to work with this.

  Pros: Small fast program. Lots to offer for searching

  Cons: Have to hide toolbar to see bottom of screen display

  "Without a doubt, the BEST browser software available."

  Pros: My primary browser, does everything it needs to do without excess bulk or fuss. You don't see much fanfare about SlimBrowser, but it is the best.

  Cons: I've been using SlimBrowser for several years, and I've yet to find a con.

  "ALL IN ONE! EVERYTHING AT YOUR FINGER TIPS."

  Pros: FROM SLIM BROWSER YOU CAN GO ANYWHERE IN OR OUT OF YOUR COMPUTER.

  Cons: SINCE THERE IS SO MUCH IN SLIM BROWSER I TEND TO FORGET WHERE SOME THINGS ARE. OTHER THAN THAT IT'S THE BEST.

  "Browsers don't get much better"

  Pros: My favorite features are:

  Aliases - You designate a letter or word for a URL, for instance you type g in the address bar to go to Google.

  Groups - Click on a group you setup and it opens all websites you have assigned to that group. Helpful for work when I open the same 7 websites everyday when I start work.

  This browser is loaded with features and it's my current favorite.

  Cons: It occasionally closes with errors.
