SlickEdit is a cross-platform programming editor that runs on Windows, Linux/Unix, Mac OS X, Solaris, AIX, Solaris x86, and HP-UX. The SlickEdit code editor provides support for more than 40 programming languages including: Ada, C, C++, C#, dBASE, HTML, Java, JavaScript, JCL, Perl, PHP, Python, SAS, VBScript, XML, YACC. SlickEdit enables programmers to create, navigate, modify, and debug code faster and more accurately. Some features SlickEdit provides are: fast opening, rapid response times, tag-driven navigation, customizable, outstanding symbol analysis, rapid coding features, code beautifiers, dynamic difference tool, programmable macros, syntax-driven search, flexible code display, Java Live errors, dockable windows, backup history, additional C/C++ refactorings.

Version 13 features adaptive Formatting, adds new Clipboards Tool Window, and boasts a new hierarchical options dialog
