  voice calls are good

  Cons

  every time i open skype up it freezes and needs to force quit. takes about 7 times for it to finally work. new update makes skype look awful compared to the old skype format. not good for group conversations, especially if you're in more than 1. sometimes it won't even load what people are typing in the conversations and you have to submit something in the group chat just so it reloads again.

  Pros

  Skype is one of my favorite, most used apps on my desktop and my phone.

  Cons

  Can't use this one. Doesn't boot in Yosemite at all, even after following all of Skype's suggested fixes, and I can't get a copy of the previous version anywhere, so I'm stuck.

  Don't download this version. Wait for the next.

  older versions do't works so Microsoft boought it just to srew customers. Please make anybody new kind of Skype and don't sell it this horribl;e company like Microsoft is.

  Although listed as Free on 10.6/10.7/10.8 supported OSX systems, it will not load on my MacBook OSX 10.6.8

• When does it work?

  It used to work great.

  No longer makes calls... " internal error."

  Summary

  I can't go back to early versions, but would if it would make the program work. I rarely use it, my cell phone is great when there is coverage, and there is less coverage with wifi. I was able to receive a call-lasted over 1.5 hours, but then dropped and never could get it back. Waiting for fixes that work. Recommendation: find something else until this works.
