From Rick Cranisky:SiteSucker is a Macintosh application that automatically downloads Web sites from the Internet. It does this by copying the site's HTML documents, images, backgrounds, movies, and other files to your local hard drive. Just enter a URL and click a button and SiteSucker can download an entire Web site. SiteSucker can be used to make local copies of your Web sites for easy maintenance. SiteSucker can download files unmodified or it can 'localize' the files it downloads, allowing you to browse a site offline.

If your schedule doesn't allow you to be chained to your desk dependent on an internet connection, then this nifty freeware app may be for you. Sitesucker grabs entire Web sites, and saves them to your hard drive for later offline browsing, making it possible to view pages on the bus or anywhere an Internet connection is unavailable. The interface is simple--consisting of a URL text field, a download status bar, and a toolbar. Sitesucker offers a few ways to move URLs into the application. You can copy the URL from a Web browser and paste into Sitesucker or simply drag and drop links into the application interface. However, we found it counterproductive to have to drag and drop or copy and paste each and every link rather than just being able to click on a link for automatic downloading. Overall, we found Sitesucker doesn't disappoint, and its purpose provides yet another reason not to stay home.
