This application offers a quick and painless way to create slide shows from your digital photos. The straightforward and intuitive interface lets you drag and drop photos directly to the application, though we wish the main window could be resized to a full-screen view. You won't find an extensive set of editing tools, but you can change background colors, add captions, and apply a few effects. In terms of transition options, ShowMe stands out, with nearly 30 types. We also appreciated that you can apply changes in batch mode and export your slide show as an EXE file, a screensaver, a VCD, or a Windows Media File. The trial version's limitation of 10 images per show was one of the few negatives we noticed. Anyone looking for a hassle-free way to create slide shows and a plethora of transition effects will like what ShowMe can do.
