Publisher's description of Settlers Dice Program 1.1

This simple app can replace the physical dice for Settlers of Catan, and the Cities and Knights expansion pack. What does this do that regular dice don't. First off, it adds a timer to limit the length of a player's turn. It also tracks and graphs the frequency of each number, color and the total rolled.

Features: Rolls white, red and colored dice on click or enter. Tracks the current player's turn. Enter up to 6 players. Click to change who's turn it is. Tracks and graphs each number, color and the total rolled. Unlimited undo's back to the start of the game. Timer option. 1 to 8 minute turn limits, or no timer at all. Pausable. Sound notification of time and (optionally) each black roll. Reset button to start a new game. Version 1.1 has new sound effects, improved UI, minor usability fixes.

  "A great way to take Settlers to the next level"

  Pros: I like how you can track how many times each number has been rolled.

  I like how you no longer have to worry about dice rolling all over the board, falling on the floor, or knocking over cities and roads.

  "Perfect addition for the Settlers of Catan junkie"

  Pros: I love this program and use it all the time when I play Settlers of Catan. It is practical and simple and has a clean visual interface that makes it very worthwhile. I highly recommend it. Check it out for yourself.

  Cons: Sometimes I miss playing with just regular old dice.
