Serial Cloner is a molecular biology software that assists you in DNA cloning, sequence analysis and visualization. Developed to provide a light freeware to both Mac & Windows users, it reads and writes DNA Strider(tm)-compatible files, imports and exports files in FASTA format and reads pDRAW32 files. Powerful graphical tools and simple interfaces help the analysis and construction steps (adaptor, PCR, Gateway[tm]) in a very intuitive way. Version 1.3 now has a virtual cutter window, can generate silent restriction maps, contains a Web browser allowing instant import of NCBI/EMBL sequences, together with many bug fixes and interface enhancements.
