Version: Security Shield 2008 7.00 build 387
Cons: Not only did it crash my computer but after two unsuccessful attempts at trying to get help from tech. support and waiting over a week I cancelled and they still charged me. The one thing I have to say if you are planning on purchasing is donā??t do it.

Cons: This certainly did not protect my computer. After it nearly died I tried another product which found numerous items of malware Security Shield had let in. I have now gone to a Freeware product which is doing a much better job of protecting my PC. I should add that SS Technical Support seem far more interested in closing work tickets than in resolving issues and their 'LiveChat' spend a considerable time typing "We will be with you momentarily", rather than concentrating on fixing anything. I have requested a refund of my payment but to date this has not been forthcoming.

Pros: This is load and leave alone. The software has nailed 4 different viruses and 1 malware since I installed it in December 2007.
Cons: I have it on 2 computers.Just a little expensive.
