Tried 'em all, Second Copy is best
Pros: Easy to set up and use once you "get it". Another one I tried I never could quite figure out what they wanted in setup screens, others too complicated. Second Copy has plenty of options to customize your copy or sync and they're easy to figure out. I sync all my document files between two computers and it does a fine job.
Cons: Like another reviewer, I would like it to sync open files, but that may be asking too much since an open file can change from one second to the next. It asks you if you want it to try to copy open files but this never works so they should remove this option. This is the only reason I gave it four stars rather than five.
changed my mind
I wrote the above review but started having problems with version 7.1, a lot of "Access is denied" messages that seemed random and arbitrary. That's when I discovered there is no way to contact the publisher directly, and the form for questions on their website doesn't work! So I gave up on them after using Second Copy with nary a problem for years. It's the latest version that's the problem.
