Then with one click, a screensaver, equipped with an installation file, is created. Screensaver XP supports common image formats including GIF, JPEG, BMP, SWF, movie clips, and RealPlayer and MediaPlayer video formats. Additional customization features include the option to add music, preview slides, set a picture's height or width, choose background colors, turn sound on or off, display in full-screen, set the slide-transition time, and add text messages to slides. It supports unlimited image and sound files.

Though it claims to create professional-style screensavers, this program's finished products actually come closer to the amateur level. The app lets you create customized screensavers from your own images and music, then add a variety of effects. However, since the interface is littered with icons and isn't very direct, we recommend using the wizard. Though it has almost every tool you'll need to build a screensaver for your own desktop, Screensaver XP doesn't have any features professionals will need. For example, you can't add a license agreement or author information, both of which would be necessary were you to release your creation to the public. Another downside is that the trial version adds a watermark and restricts you to just five images. If you just want to make screensavers for fun, this utility will do the trick, but anyone looking for a professional-caliber solution will need to look elsewhere.

"Loaded with SPYWARE!!!"

Pros: There are NO PROS...IT'S ALL SPYWARE!!!

Cons: Namely such SPYWARE as "ABetterInternet" and "Twain Tech". Plus, it tried to set my Internet Security Settings to ZERO!!!
