Perhaps the best screen cast software for Mac, ScreenFlow offers up an intuitive interface and excellent features to create professional presentations. Right from the start you are greeted with a simple dialog screen which helps you set up everything you want to record, including actions performed on your desktop, which microphone to use, and what you capture on your Webcam. All can be recorded simultaneously so you have your first run finished in one set of actions. From there, we found it easy to understand the controls for editing and focusing on parts of the presentation to provide a better experience for viewers. We were particularly impressed with the ability to adjust settings during the editing phase which let you call out certain parts of the presentation and give the ability to zoom in on the action after the presentation was shot. If you work with Keynote or PowerPoint, ScreenFlow is the perfect tool to make your screen cast presentations easy to make, professional looking, and ready to play on any platform using QuickTime.
