Every once in while, nearly every computer user needs to capture a picture of exactly what's happening on the computer screen. Screen Shot Maker provides a simple, no-frills way of doing just that, offering the ability to save an image of the full screen, a specific window, or a selected area of the screen as a graphics file. Users can set keyboard shortcuts that will trigger a screenshot while working in a different program, and can save the result in several kinds of image formats. The program's interface is easy to use, with only a few options to configure before starting. Although some other screenshot programs offer more advanced features, we think this download will serve most basic screen-capture needs, and is simple enough to be used by novices.
