From marc waesche software: Schmaili allows you to quickly insert one of 190 animated smiley faces into your mail just by a mouse click. You can use this free version with 190 different smiley faces without a time limit. The Platinum version brings you 1,600 different animated smileys for your mails divided into different folders. A smiley generator, a management for your own smileys and a mail-tracking feature are included. This application offers a wide range of animated smiley faces to spice up your messages, but it doesn't work with all e-mail programs. Schmaili's straightforward interface has plainly designed buttons offering 15 categories, including Funny, Crazy, and Impudent, with graphics displayed below. Although listed as freeware, you'll only have access to the General Folder with just under 200 selections. Select one to instantly paste it into a new e-mail message. Other features for creating your own smiley face holding a customizable sign or for tracking sent e-mails are also disabled. In addition to the smiley icons, the program offers tabs for animated graphics of the Simpsons, the Smurfs, the Peanuts characters, and our friends from Sesame Street, though these too are only available in the paid version. Somewhat softening the marketing edge is the button to close the message when you access a disabled feature. It's labeled, "I don't care, I'm satisfied with what I have." Schmaili worked fine in our tests, but is only compatible with Outlook, Outlook Express, IncrediMail, and Netscape. If you use one those programs, this is a simple and inexpensive way to start or add to your animated graphics collection, even with the push to ante up for the paid version.
