In sailing, it is important to be able to determine the best heading upwind. Sailing off the wind increases boat speed but increases the distance to the destination. Heading upwind shortens the distance but slows the boat. SailTimer has been developed to resolve this long-standing seafaring problem. Use it to determine the tacking time to destination (TTD). Just enter the direction of the wind and your destination. Then see the optimal tacking angles before you go. Version 1.0.3 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
