Publisher's description of Saft

Saft is a Safari plugin to extend its features with sidebar, searchable history and bookmarks, full-screen browsing, type-ahead searching, customized Google Search field, URL shortcuts and kiosk mode. Some features include the ability to add bookmark here in every bookmark menus, always open browser window in tab, auto save and restore opened browser windows at quitting and start, block images and plugins, control-drag page, customizable HTTP timeout, customized Google search field, extended search from contextual menu, and an install debug menu.

New features in Version 7.5.0 include the addition of title, timestamp, URL and page number when printing, a "Sort Bookmarks" in bookmark menus, improvement in the Import and export of Shortcuts, and the option to control visibility of Reset Safari button in kiosk mode.

  Saft is more trouble than it's worth!

  Pros: Nothing

  Cons: Make Safari crash frequently. More annoyance than feature to have program open in last used window.

  Great. Been using it for years.

  Pros: Tab management. Page & tab saving on quit, reload on Safari relaunch. STABLE

  Cons: Needs update when Safari is updated. (Can be frequent but not the author's fault.) Easy to get into Kiosk mode if a user can't follow directions. (See other reviews.)

  Caused Safari to crash.Once removed crashes stopped, started when reinstalled.

  Pros: Not enough time to evaluate the program, but other than the program crashes the program was usefull but ...

  Cons: Safari became unstable and tended to crash on loading web pages.

  Pointless and dangerous

  Pros: Nothing obvious

  Cons: It caused Safari to fill the screen and make the Menubar inaccesible. Needed to shut down the Mac to clear it. Happens every time I try and use it. Don't touch this badly written rubbish with a bargepole.
