From Webyog:SQLyog is a fast, compact MySQL front end for Windows. The program is aimed at users who need an easy graphical interface to execute SQL queries. The program supports execution of multiple queries and selected (highlighted) or single queries and offers a template explorer to quickly insert commonly used queries, such as insert, drop table, and rollback. Export data and result sets to CSV (variable length and fixed length), XML, and HTML. Import data from all ODBC compliant data sources, like MS Access, MS SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle. Synchronize your database with a click of mouse. Import data from CSV. In addition, SQLyog allows you to diagnose and optimize your databases and save your favorite SQL scripts in favorite folders.
Version 4.0 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"Not price issue even though it's cheap software."
Pros: Price is cheap but why we choose software because it's very cheap?
Cons: Worst case of shareware software I've ever seen marketed. A newcomer to building even a simple database would never get to second base with this product. Error messages seem to pop up everywhere. Software crashes more often than not. Runs at a snails pace over a network. It is riddled with complaints about stability issues. I downloaded this software about 1 week ago. From the very beginning, I've had nothing but problems. Installation problems, memory problems, you name it. I immediately went to their user groups for support only to realize, I am not alone with these issues. I wish I knew then what I know now.

Pros: Easy to install, clear screens shortly very usefull
Cons: Need some additional futures (for MySQL ver.5) regarding to thable constrains(PK/FK relations).

Summary: I spent whole day to try all GUI from download.com. I would only recommend MySQL Manager, Navicat and MySQL Front. MySQL Front is free. However, if you want to buy powerful GUI, MySQL manager or Navicat must be your unique choice. The price for such... read more >>
