Publisher's description of SQL Excel
SQL Excel add-in, Simplify data retrieval from SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, My SQL, and any other ODBC compliant database. SQL Excel adds easy database access to MS Excel. Works with any ODBC compatible data source. Version 1.3 added an extra button in the main form to paste an embedded query into a worksheet, changed the locatin of the settings/addin support file, and fixed implementation of Excel 2007 limits.

"easy to use database linking excel plugin"
Pros: Apart from the best part - the free part - really like the user interface and find it very easy to work with. I have so far used it with my joomla database (MYSql server) and the visual representation of the query is good
Cons: I found that is it not easy to switch from one query to another. It would be easier if it were possible to show previously used queries in the query dialog
