Version: SG TCP Optimizer 2.0.1
Pros: I have been trying quite a few different optimizers to achieve the optimum connection and throughput speed for my setup and thought I had. Then I came across a White Paper article on TCP/IP optimization that mentioned this particular Application Program by name. I knew I had seen it here before but never used it. So being the Download Deamon I am I grabbed it and tried it and BAMM!! I got another Consistent increase of 5K in throughput, plus it has a ping and trace thats always handy. This is definately a 5 star Program good for beginner and pro.
Cons: Wish I hadn't passed it up earlier

"Surprised it's available for free!"
Pros: Great for relative beginners and tweakers alike. The interface is very intuitive and balanced for easy use by folks who just want to optimize, yet provides plenty of flexibility for the power tweakers out there. Get it while you can for free, and keep it in your toolbox of useful software.
Cons: It doesn't have a cartoonish "Do It All For Me Tee Hee!" AOL style button. Instead you have to actually select an "Optimal Settings" icon and then Apply. Boo. Hoo. Other than that, it's as good as your likely to find anywhere.

"One quick way to optimize your download speed!"
Pros: Very intuitive and easy to use. User has a way of also getting all settings back to default. Looks like a lot of thought wen't into desigining this tool.

"Versatel couldn't help me, SG TCP Optimizer did!"
Pros: I got a 20MB versatel ADSL-line. Without SG TCP Optimizer I only get a downstream of 10MB max!
When I use SG TCP Optimizer I got the full downstream.
