First, create a map which becomes the stage of your adventure. Secondly, setup the hero, monsters, items, magic, etc,all the things you need to play the RPG. Finally you can complete your very own RPG by creating the events and placing them around the map. The New RPG MAKER is easier. In the previous RPG MAKER XP you had to use the script called RGSS but now you can use most of the functions with easier setups. You can save time by making frequent using events with one single command, and by making beautiful maps with little operation.

"Well, it's better than XP..."
Pros: Well the only upsides I can think of is that it's for both XP and Vista.
Cons: The only con is it cost 60 bucks.

Cons: Its a little high for the licence (after the 30 day trial) if they made the licence a little cheaper, say to $30 or $20, maybe there would be more downloads, sales, etc. I know its a hard to make one of these makers, but they dont need to get all the money from one person! but very good program besides that!

Pros: I have always been a fan of the RPG Makers. I just wish they had a RPG Maker 3d for PC like they did PS1 + PS2!!! Couldn't they just port it over? (and make a lot of money by doing it?) Anyways, no complaints here. Good Work!
