From Pictomio:Pictomio is a software application for managing, categorizing, searching, and archiving photos, videos and other media files, and allows you to generate animated 2D and 3D slideshows. The extensive capabilities of the latest programmable 3D graphic cards are utilized for image decoding and displaying slideshows. The Pictomio software is composed of different parts: a photo browser, slideshow editor and slideshow viewer. Features: Image Manager, 3D Image Carousel, EXIF Editor, Liquid Zoom, Library, Image Rating, Album and Categories, Tools, Slideshow, Video Viewer. Pictomio is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese.
Version 1.0.15 adds new languages, new formats, location of library files in file system via context menu, and new default categories.

Pros: impressive visuals. i like a lot of things about this. the different viewing procedures, the way it imports and categorizes folders. a really good concept
Cons: movement is choppy and video doesn't play well. but it's still a decent program

"Very pretty, not for everyday use."
Pros: If I saw this running on someone else's computer, I would be jealous. It works as advertised and is pretty sweet looking.
Cons: In the end, I uninstalled the software because, though it is very pretty, the drain it put on my machine was not worth it. I will stick with Irfanview and wish it was as nice looking as this software.
If I was to make one suggestion to improve upon what I saw when I was using this, it would be to make the transition between picks in the 'album' view a little bit quicker. It is a long animation between pics.

"It's OK if all you want is a pretty interface"
Pros: It looks nice and has some creative features
Cons: Scrolling through photos in all the various ways is not very smooth. Doesn't do anything but let you view your photos.
