Version: Rosetta Stone Spanish Level I Demo
Pros: I bought the online subscription, and noticed that I learned spanish in a way that made me relate what I see to spanish words. In other words, I don't have to translate, I'm now thinking in spanish. This demo won't work, but there is a demo on their website that shows you their method. However, the software works much better than the demo will show you.
Cons: Well for one thing, the demo you get here doesn't work. It connects to a server that doesn't exist. The way it teaches writing is kinda strange, but if I didn't know how to pronounce spanish already, it would probably be useful. Oh, it immerses you in gender forms of grammar without explaining it. This would confuse me if I didn't already speak a bit. I can understand men and women, but objects? That's not something americans know or use.
So yes, I did their demo and some of their full version and this is what I think of it so far

"Requires broadband access. No good for dialup."
Cons: Description should state that you have to stay on-line to use.

Cons: Cons: cannot load program, tells me "cannot reach FLT license server". Have removed and reinstalled program with same results. Help!!
