Right Backup Lite is an all-in-one backup tool for files, folders, e-mails, and system registries. Its well-designed interface is novice-friendly and features a wizard-like function for easy backup and restoration of your files and e-mails into specified folders. It also supports self-extracting archives, so if you want to send your files through FTP or e-mail, you won't have to install the application itself. It can effectively secure your backup files using encryption, whether self-extracting or not. The restoration process is as quick as the backup process using the three-step wizard.

Unlike other applications, which rely on the Windows task scheduler, Right Backup Lite has its own scheduling feature for automatic backup. With Right Backup Lite, users won't need a separate backup tool for e-mail and files, because the program efficiently performs both, and best of all--it's free of charge.

  Pros: Great backup utility.

  Cons: Not free. The download has a 30-day trial period.

  Free version has too many limitations

  Pros: The paid version is OK. It has all the advertised features and works well.

  Cons: The free version has too many limitasions for practical use. Should be considered a non-functional demo.

  Pros: Does great backup job with unbelievable automatic set features for a free program. If you're not sure, just use defaults. Does backup of things like Outlook Express without effort, all built-in. Be sure to check the features page to make sure it does what you want it to do in the free version.

  This co. makes other high rated progies. This free one works great!

  Cons: Has a confusing nag screen in free version, but all you have to do is exit this nag screen and the program runs great, once you've registered your email address. One time is all you have to register, then the "About" page shows the free version is registered to you, which is confusing because the nag still lets you put in your reg info, even though it isn't needed anymore.

  Pros: Was looking for a free utility.

  Cons: It ain't free. The first window on install states "Welcome to your 30 day trial offer!" (pharaphased of course).
