Revo Uninstaller is a freeware innovative uninstall utility much faster than Windows Add/Remove applet. With its advanced and fast algorithm, Revo Uninstaller scans before and after you uninstall an application. After the program's regular uninstaller runs, you can remove additional unnecessary files, folders and registry keys that are usually left over on your computer. Even if you have a broken installation, Revo Uninstaller scans for an application's data on your hard disk drives and in the Windows registry and shows all found files, folders and registry items so you can delete them. Version 1.5 added saving of sorting column and type (ascending, descending), improved listing of Windows Installer (MSI) applications.

- "Uninstall like a pro"
Where the built-in and sluggish Windows Add or Remove Programs option fails, freeware Revo picks up the slack. It builds out a useful feature set on top of a fairly light, 1.5MB installation. Launching Revo fires up the Uninstaller screen, which shows icons and titles of all programs installed on your machine. You can change the View to List or Details, if you'd like more information. Right-clicking gives users a list of choices, from the fundamental like Uninstall and Remove from list, to Search Google, Show the installation directory, and quick access to the app's Help file, its About screen, and an Update link.
Revo also provides some powerful tools. Advanced mode adds program-specific Registry key access to the context menu. The Tools Optimizer holds the Autorun Manager, Windows Tools access screen, and a Junk File finder/killer. The Autorun Manager provides one-stop shopping for startup tweaking. Windows Tools pulls together various and disparate basic utilities under one umbrella, and the Junk killer is just killer.
The Tools Tracks Cleaner accesses cache-cleaning features, include standard browser cache functions as well as crash memory dump files, MS Office cleaners, system-wide and program-specific search histories, and more. Another cool function is the Hunter, which offers click-and-drag uninstall and process-killing functionality. Revo and the way that it will revolutionize your uninstall workflow is hard to pass up.

Version: Revo Uninstaller 1.5
Pros: It did what I needed, and didn't cause me any problems at all. I needed an uninstall app to kill McAfee on my new computer after the removal tool failed to get it all. I tried others, Smarty forced another system restore, so did Your Uninstaller. McAfee was back but so was my system thru system restore. I read these great reviews and in a panic, installed it. It easily killed McAfee without removing anything but McAfee. what a nice, complete program, and free to!
Cons: i'd be a fool to post any cons. This is a program that can be trusted. Thanks a million VS Revo Group.

Pros: I'll give credit where it's due any time. I've tried several but had more heartaches then success. Not with Revo, it's dynamite thru and thru. Great options that do the job without killing a shared registry or dll entry. Creates a system restore at each uninstall. Has more features then just an uninstall program and the fact that it's free only make it better. Many thanks to VS Revo Group.
Cons: None! I'd buy this one if I had to. Kudos to this software company for delivering a great program.

"This is a great free program."
Pros: To me it's easily worth a 5 star review. Because unlike some other, paid programs of this type, Revo won't hurt your operating system due to it's main four options, from safe where it will use the programs built in uninstall module to advanced where it will scan your registry and program files to eliminate all traces of the removed program. Even as free ware, it beats out all the others I?ve tried.
Cons: No cons, anybody complaining about free programs of this quality must have something wrong with them.

"As with previous versions, this is the best Uninstaller around."
Pros: Everything about this program is first class. My favorite feature is after uninstall, the search for leftover files in the registry and the option to delete those, plus if there are any other relevant files in the system it is presented for deletion also. Really first class.
