Revo Uninstaller is a freeware innovative uninstall utility much faster than Windows Add/Remove applet. With its advanced and fast algorithm, Revo Uninstaller scans before and after you uninstall an application. After the program's regular uninstaller runs, you can remove additional unnecessary files, folders and registry keys that are usually left over on your computer. Even if you have a broken installation, Revo Uninstaller scans for an application's data on your hard disk drives and in the Windows registry and shows all found files, folders and registry items so you can delete them. With its unique "Hunter mode" it offers you some simple, easy-to-use but effective and powerful approaches to manage (uninstall, stop, delete, disable from auto starting) and to get information about your installed and/or running applications. Many additional tools are included in Revo Uninstaller: Auto Start Manager, Windows tools manager, Junk Files Cleaner, or Browsers history cleaner.
Version adds automatic creation of System Restore Point before uninstall option.

- "Uninstall like a pro"
Where the built-in and sluggish Windows Add or Remove Programs option fails, freeware Revo picks up the slack. It builds out a useful feature set on top of a fairly light, 1.5MB installation. Launching Revo fires up the Uninstaller screen, which shows icons and titles of all programs installed on your machine. You can change the View to List or Details, if you'd like more information. Right-clicking gives users a list of choices, from the fundamental like Uninstall and Remove from list, to Search Google, Show the installation directory, and quick access to the app's Help file, its About screen, and an Update link.
Revo also provides some powerful tools. Advanced mode adds program-specific Registry key access to the context menu. The Tools Optimizer holds the Autorun Manager, Windows Tools access screen, and a Junk File finder/killer. The Autorun Manager provides one-stop shopping for startup tweaking. Windows Tools pulls together various and disparate basic utilities under one umbrella, and the Junk killer is just killer.
The Tools Tracks Cleaner accesses cache-cleaning features, include standard browser cache functions as well as crash memory dump files, MS Office cleaners, system-wide and program-specific search histories, and more. Another cool function is the Hunter, which offers click-and-drag uninstall and process-killing functionality. Revo and the way that it will revolutionize your uninstall workflow is hard to pass up.

"Big improvement in this version."
Pros: Revo uninstaller has a nice interface with large icons and names of installed programs. Also this uninstaller loads installed programs very fast, as fast as you can blink your eye. It now makes a restore point before uninstalling a program, so all left over files of an uninstalled program are sent to the recycle bin.
Click the name of the program to be uninstalled, and click uninstall the selected application. Now it says are you sure you want to uninstall the selected application click yes.
Now it shows four uninstall modes, built in run only applications uninstaller with no additional scanning. Safe mode performs additional scans in the registry, and the hard drive for left over items that are safe to delete this is the fastest mode. And it has two other modes moderate, and advanced this advanced mode is the slowest.
On tools it has a startup manager to enable or disable applications, from starting on windows startup. Also on tools it has windows tools, that gives a lot of information about your computer. And has tracks cleaner that supports Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Netscape browsers.

Pros: V. 1.40 has greatly improved interface, and works altogether faster. Very useful tool indeed - extremely thorough clean-up of unused files, folders, and registry keys.

Pros: Waaaay better then I imagined it! And it looks much better then the image posted! sleek, colorful & cute. It also has a little icon thingie that we can accessed anywhere when searching for things we want to get rid of. We can drag it to the file or drag & drop with options as to what we want to do w/ the folder, software etc. Once we install the Revo tho we know longer have the option to uninstall from windows uninstaller, so make sure you dont make the mistake I did & "delete" something instead of "uninstall" . All it will do is delete the icon. I rather use this then windows anyway because it doesn't leave nothing behind!

"Better then paid programs of this type!"
Pros: I admit, I was very surprised by this programs abilities and features. And to think it's free ware is just amazing! It does what it says and some. Runs great on "Vista" and
has not (to date) caused any harm to my system. Very handy forgetting rid of difficult to uninstall programs like "Norton". I doubt you can go wrong with this program.
Cons: Why would I fault free ware like this? I wouldn't!
