Revenant demo
Only the demo is bad
I did not like the demo because you can not save your progress in any way. It is also tough to progress quickly through the game because it is hard to heal yourself and find new equipment.

SWEET GAME!
I have diablo 2 and when I just played this demo I went out and bought this game right away! It also has an excellent story line to go with the other great features! Diablo 2 isn't half as good as this game!

Beautiful but Brainless
Diablo is a great and influential game whose core concept was to combine an action game with a role-playing game. The key to its success is that it maintains a successful balance between physical and mental activity -- when you get tired of one, there's plenty of the other to engage you. Revenant's core concept is to combine Diablo with an arcade-style martial arts fight game. It's not a bad idea, but it falls short in execution because the game is entirely weighted on the physical side with almost no mental activity at all. It's not really a Diablo-type game at all -- it's just an arcade-style fighting game with a Diablo-like background. If you're a Diablo fan, the continual one-on-one fighting will get boring after a while and you'll be waiting for the other activities to kick in (battle strategy, quests, collecting items, balancing inventory and stats), but they never do. That said, the game is lovingly designed, gorgeous to look at and has great little touches like Jerry Garcia as the potion seller. There's enough here to make the demo well worth downloading, but whether you'll want to buy and play the full game or not just depends. If you liked Diablo, you'll find Revenant lacking in content and ultimately, disappointing. On the other hand, if you like arcade-style fighting games and didn't think Diablo had enough action, you'll love Revenant.
