Returnil Virtual System Personal Edition
does exactly what it says
Pros: this does exactly what it claims, didn't slow down my computer. and here's my big butt....
Cons: but, if you download a program or updates, remember to turn this program off or it doesn't reach your hard drive.
Returnil Virtual System Personal Edition
Does everything it should with ease.
Pros: Once installed, turn on system protection and re-start. Your on a virtual system so theres no way to catch spy-ware, viruses or damage your operating system which I've done to many times without it. It's a superior way to test software including anti-virus programs, tuning, tweaking, registry cleaners, etc. Re-start and the what ever you installed is gone, just like it t never happened. If you decide you like it, start with protection turned off and install it for real. It's simple to use and free just makes it that much better.
Cons: No cons. This is a good, free virtual drive program
Returnil Virtual System Personal Edition
one of the best free APP
Pros: the 2008 new version has a very cool GUI and very solid kernel. I like it very much.
Cons: I have use it for a long time. it works smoothly.
Returnil Virtual System Personal Edition
Great on XP, dangerous on Vista.
Pros: This app is so cool on an XP system, I can't recommend it enough. Just don't allow it to create and format it's virtual partition on a Vista machine or it could end up, burnt toast!
Cons: But, I'm running two Windows systems on the same PC. Tried to install on Vista, after reboot it blue screened/memory dumped on me (just like Vista SP 1 did). I'm quite certain it did because I allowed it to create it's little virtual partition on one of my memory boards. Too bad really! If I had a PC for each system, I'm sure on XP it would do fine. Under Vista, after it dumped on me, I had to re-install Vista and ZNorton Ghost, then recover it from the cloned image on my external drive. But first, I had to re-seat the memory boards in order to kill the virtual partition.
