RenameWiz is the perfect program for those who do a lot of file managing and archiving such as Webmasters, FTP traders, and so on. It allows you to rename multiple files to just about anything you want. You can rename files sequentially, specifying a starting and ending number as well as the increment amount. You can search and replace sets of characters in file names, add a prefix or suffix, and a ton of other options. It also has a simulation mode that lets you see what a certain renaming scheme would do to your files before you actually do it. The interface is straightforward and easy to use. This program perfectly fills an overlooked niche.

This basic but extremely handy tool saves you time by batch-renaming files and folders. RenameWiz boasts a great interface, and it's unlikely that you'll ever need to enter the menus since all of the app's features are displayed on the main window. It gives you a load of renaming options, including the ability to change file extensions; add prefixes or suffixes; and search for files, folders, and replacements. A quick and easy way to change file names, the program does its primary job very well. RenameWiz is a solid choice for anyone who needs to rename a large amount of files on a regular basis.

"ripoff"

Pros: product ran well.

Cons: unable to get serial number after my hard drive blew and had to reinstall system and all software. have repeatedly emailed them. nolo respondre. no one at home. ridiculous. bought it and can't use it.

"Easy to Use, Fast"

Pros: Using this product was very straight forward. I wasn't looking for anything too complex, so the renaming features were more than rich enough for me.

"Good product"

Pros: Does everything it says. Easy to use.

Cons: Does not handle memory very well. Sometimes stays resident after closing. Other times just refuses to load - immediately crashes. No updates for several years and no response to emails. If you can't support your product don't charge for it.

Pros: This rename tool is realy easy to rename your files in many differnt ways.
I like it because you have the whole tool just in one simple general view.
Try it you find it too!

"Easy to use, fast, good features. 1 flaw"

Pros: Very good tool for people who manage a lot of files, such as images. We manage over 20,000 photos a year and this program has saved us a lot of time. Easy to use, intuitive, fast, and a good feature set.

Cons: The only negative we discovered is that the program will sometimes stay memory resident AFTER you exit the program! It does not do it consistently and we hope this gets resolved down the road.
