Pros: None

Cons: It's junk and very dangerous, so don't use it. Already addressed at Wilders Security Forums. This app can really do damage to your system. :-/

This software has helped to many users and it is gratitude on many sites and i dont see in which way it's dangerous, maybe its only dangerous to malicious code writers and there are many of them.

Just hop over to Wilders so you can find the thread where dirgolic challenges one of the most respected virus researchers (Happy Bytes).

Your app only looks at the filenames and nothing else, so that's not what I would call an anti-virus. :-/

He, Happy Bytes, called it ***** and so do I.

I'm not going to question his findings period.

In most every case filename check is very good and fast detection including signature check for worms with random filenames which RemoveIT Pro also detects.

Unbelievable

You keep defending your faith that it only has to check filenames. VERY WRONG !!!

An antivirus is more then just checking the filenames.

Use Avast, AVG, Antivir or any other well respected free antivirus, but not this.

Dirgolic certainly needs to learn how to address malware and not by the filenames.

Like I said before, don't use it and if you do, you do it on your own risk. You're hereby warned.

The End.

RemoveIT Pro has signature and filename check.

In most cases signature and filename detection locate infected files and remove them.

Many useres have said that RemoveIT Pro is only thing that help them against popups and worms which another big av names didnt detect.

No 1 program will detect and remove everything period. RemovalIT has nice features and is good at what it does. You sound like the type of person who opens the car window and complains he has wind in his face.

PS. I use the following - Bazooka,RemoveIT,Multi virus 2006, SUPERAntiSpyware,Spybot,XoftspySE,Anti-Spy.info,

Avira Antivir PE Classic
