The application includes the essential functionalities for using RSS feeds and even more: very easy interface but complete possibility to organize your feeds in folders; new messages are saved locally so that you can browse them offline; you are informed about new messages by a pop-up windows and a sound; possibility to import and export feeds in the OPML format; search engine to find easily old messages in your feeds; auto-update; tab-browsing navigation; possibility to customize the application; compatible with feeds protected with username and password; support proxies.

Editor's review of RSS Xpress
This RSS reader is quick and simple to use, but there's nothing here that sticks out among the hundreds of other RSS readers available. RSS Xpress has a familiar, user-friendly appearance, with a minimal number of buttons for adding, updating, and opening feeds.
Using the program is simple, although we had some difficulty selecting specific feeds from a preloaded list; we could select the feed, but we couldn't add it to the My Feeds list. The publisher's Web site and most of the preloaded feeds are in French; but adding feeds is simply a matter of pasting a URL into the appropriate field.
This reader performed quickly, and other than the couple of aforementioned issues, using it was a simple matter. Even so, we can't rouse much excitement about RSS Xpress because there are other RSS readers available with more robust feature sets.
