Version 5.4 includes fully integrated support for PDF forms, a JavaScript engine with supporting documentation, improved PDF to Word conversion functionality, enhanced support for Microsoft Office 2007 users, plus performance improvements across the whole application.

  Nitro PDF Professional

  More complex than I need

  Pros: Works well but all I need is something to produce pdfs directly from a scanner.

  Cons: Doesn't print duplex correctly and there's no way of fixing it. I often print two-sided forms One copy at a time works of OK but I want to do 20 at a time. Nitro PDF Professional prints 20 pages of page one back-to-back followed by 20 page of 2 back-to-back. There is no 'collate' option in its print menu. In view of this once the trial expires I won't be purchasing this software.
