Power Spy secretly logs keystrokes, windows opened, documents (NotePad, MS Word), clipboard activities, passwords, applications; records MSN Messenger, ICQ, AIM, Yahoo! IM, Windows Messenger, Windows Live Messenger and Skype's chat text; logs all web sites visited; logs all emails read in WinMail, IncrediMail, MS Outlook Express and Outlook 97/2000/XP/2003; It takes screenshots at your set interval like a surveillance camera.

It acts stealthily that PC users won't know its existence. However, it is easy for you to unhide its Control Panel with your hotkey, view records directly from the CP on the monitored computer, or receive records via an email at a set interval, such as every 60 minutes. The CP can be password protected to prevent others from terminating or uninstalling them, and this is useful if you want to run it visibly. Version 5.5.1 support Windows Vista.

• "Powerful spy tools from Power Spy"

This PC-monitoring application offers an impressive collection of functions designed to help you keep a controlling eye on whoever uses your computer.

Power Spy 2007 watches all applications, with specific panels for five different chatting applications, as well as panels for logging URLs visited, keys typed, e-mails sent, documents worked on, and items copied to the clipboard. It also takes screenshots and can e-mail you with updates on the computer's usage. All logs, from the full text of instant messages to the slightest touch of the Enter key, are quickly logged and stamped by date and time.

In the control panel, you can access any of these logs to export, save, or delete them. The interface uses oversize icons to expedite category identification, and there are additional options for setting e-mail updates, the frequency of screenshots, and whether Power Spy loads when you start up the computer.

Although it'd be nice to see some filtering options integrated into this full monitoring package, Power Spy leaves little to be desired when it comes to how the family or work PC gets used.

  "Terrible software"

  Pros: None

  Cons: This program does not work with MS Vista as advertised. the email forwarding function does not work. do not waste your money.

  Version: Power Spy 2007 5.5.1

  "FINALLY I GOT IT REMOVED"

  Pros: It is easy to use. I liked the interface.

  Cons: The pop up was a pain even to evaluate. Finding/Removing the product was almost impossible. I emailed ematrixsoft for help. Below is the response:

  "Dear customer,

  1. Use your hotkey (Ctrl+Alt+X as default) to unhide its control panel

  2. Cancel the program activation reminder window

  3. Enter your password ('1' as default) to access the main interface

  4. Press Stop and then Uninstall Me button to remove this program"

  So far it seems this has worked.
