Version: Portfolio Tracker 2008 11.1
Cons: Would not run. I have Excel 2003, which meets program's requirements. All buttons/actions in this program required Excel macros to be set to a lower security setting in order to get them to run. This was accompanied by a statement that doing so is "not recommended", leaving the user in a dilemma. I, for one, am certainly not going to put my computer at risk just to allow this software to function. The developer of this product needs to do much more testing, and revise the product so user can work it seamlessly. Help system is poor and needs major re-design. Also, the install module was an unregistered version of some shareware product and reminded user of same upon completion of installation; this taints the product with an unprofessional appearance.
