Version: Pop Goes The Gmail 0.8
Pros: Well... I havenÃ??t tried it and wonÃ??t - donÃ??t need to.
Cons: ThereÃ??s no need in such a program as you can setup POP3-download to your email-client (such as Outlook) within your Gmail. Just go to "Settings" and there youÃ??ve got it.

Version: Pop Goes The Gmail 0.8
Pros: The idea is pretty sound
Cons: As I read, and in my own experience, this piece of work won't run at all, but maybe it's not the app which is causing trouble but the very .NET piece of junk.
Ever since I downloaded the "update" every .NET app I try to run causes a fatal exception; funny thing is I recall from .NET install a line stating: this update can't be uninstalled... Damned thing!
So, maybe it's a good app but since there's no way to make it work -other than reinstalling windows?- there's no room for recommendations.

Version: Pop Goes The Gmail 0.8
"It might be a waste for some but it is totally needed by others"
Pros: Sorry to say brent you will not need a brain scan if you use this program, as gmail is a brilliant and easy to use email server it is showing no ability to connect to the site for me and several friends, therefore i need a non-browser way to connect to my email account. therefore it is a good program if needed
Cons: It is a bit of a non event compared to the internet site that gmail holds.

Version: Pop Goes The Gmail 0.8
Summary: A very nifty program. However, if you use Thunderbird, don't expect it to work. Mine worked (amazingly!) for a few days, and then nothing ever got downloaded. This should be made as a plugin for Thunderbird, if a fied version comes.
