PocketMusic

Good, but not really free.

by: abrahamcaleb on 10-Oct-2004 07:12:12 PM

At first it worked extremely well but if you choose not to upgrade at the end of the period it stops playing ogg ad wma. Considering my entire collection is in ogg, it became useless. Otherwise, its great. It even lets you cut off the screen to save power, but still use programmable-buttons to interact, lets my HP5695 play for almost 6 hours.

Fantastic application!

by: elnator on 05-Mar-2006 07:15:09 AM

Pros: This program has it all. You can even get add ons for some of the newer file formats out there. I spent several hours online searching for the right music app for my new 6700 and settled on this one after trying it for free for 7 days. It has very clear playback an extremely intuitive interface and for those used to Winamp it has a skin that looks just like WinAMP. As a m atter of fact you can even mod it with most winamp 2.0 skins available on the 'net.

Cons: I honestly have nothing negative that I've discovered about it yet.

PocketMusic

Good when it worked, but now won't boot

by: kuching on 14-Feb-2004 11:45:56 PM

I used the freebie, and then paid them $19.95 for the version with all the goodies. Now, it won't work (gives error on boot), and their tech service is useless. So I'm out the money and the thing doesn't work! POOR!

Pros: the look

Cons: You can't register with the number that they give you, so after 3 days you lose the right to use the program
