"Could Be Better, Can Be Addicting"

Pros: Much to explore. Many possibilities for your avatar. Above average social network. I've been playing SL for about 10 months. It can be addicting to play. Other nice things are voice chat capabilities, streaming video and audio.

Cons: As a result of some SL policy changes, acquiring Linden Dollars without usage of your own credit card has become more difficult. Although you can still enjoy playing SL with little or no Linden money. If you want to deck out your avatar and acquire accessory items you will need Linden which can be accumulated at a slow pace via various ways such as "camping", winning contests, working.
Current SL software has high demand of resources from my mac mini (CoreDuo, 1.83, 2gig ram). It worked better and faster with Mac's Tiger OS than the new Leopard.
