"Make your own rules"

Don't like Firefox's close button on each tab? Miss the multiple rows of tabs when they exceed the width of your screen? This kick-butt Firefox extension makes tabbed browsing even better than it already is. Tab Mix Plus can change those settings and almost everything else associated with tabs. Use your scroll wheel to browse tabs, or control tab switching via mouse gestures. You can specify where Web pages will open--in the background or the foreground, in a new tab or the current one--based on how they were created: by clicking a link, typing an address, or using the search bar.

You can duplicate a tab, protect it from closing, or merge tabs from several windows. We also like the option that prevents those annoying blank tabs when you download files. Another useful feature is a session manager that restores tabs that were open the last time the browser shut down. We'd like to see an option to view tabs as thumbnails, but nevertheless there's something here for every Firefox user--don't browse without it.

"Amazing, glad to see it again."

Pros: I've been using it for ages, it's become the first add-on I download. It's one of those things that should be built right into Firefox. I can't live with any other browser now simply due to the absence of Tab Mix Plus features.

Cons: Nothing at all.

"Really useful.... although still a little confusing ;-)"

Pros: Allows the control over Tab behaviour Firefox doesn't offer (anymore?). Covers about every possible options one can think of.

Cons: The interface and learning curve are still not the most user-friendly. While I waited for the FF3 version, I forgot how most things were working and had to learn them all over again when it was finally issued. Still doesn't spoil the Pros!

"Just fine!"

Pros: It does what it is supposed to do! Adds those special little things that mean alot to me that aren't inherent to Firefox, like locking the tab, and saving us two downloads, duplicate and reload tabs.

Cons: I just think that after all these years there woiuld be something new to it. There aren't really any "cons"....

"Can't compute without it"

Pros: 10-star extension for Firefox 3. There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe how TabMixPlus enhances the Firefox browser.

Cons: There are no negatives.
