Instantly add game pad and joystick support to any computer game with Pinnacle Game Profiler. This software allows you to emulate your keyboard and mouse with your game controller, and otherwise customize the controller's behavior. Many PC games do not directly support game controllers, but with Pinnacle Game Profiler you can use any controller to play any game. Games that normally require an awkward keyboard and mouse control system can now be played with your favorite game pad or joystick. Create your own profiles or use the built-in Pinnacle update feature to download pre-made game profiles. This software gives you the power to tie simple or complex keyboard sequences to each of the buttons on your controller, even create rapid-fire commands. Pinnacle offers many features, such as the ability to map walk and sprint combinations to a single joystick, and auto-detect game profiles.

Version 4.5 includes new Wiimote support and full XBOX 360 support with force feedback.

  Pinnacle Game Profiler

  Best controller software available.

  Pros: Great user interface, plenty of features, and great help through both the program's guides as well as from one of the 2 (that's right, two) developers on the website's forums.

  You can actually create a profile for any .exe, including explorer.exe. An official Windows profile comes with the program for those who would rather use a controller to navigate windows. There are media player and browser profiles available as well from users on the forums.

  With so many profiles created by users on the forums, there's bound to be one for the program or game you're looking for.

  Runs of Vista, WiiMote support.

  Update feature integrated. There are tons of different kinds of commands you can create with Pinnacle. Cycle commands, repeat commands, shift commands, swap profiles, as well as a Quick Assign feature for when you just want that A button to act like the damn space bar already!

  Amazing product with incredible support. The developers are constantly working on new features and added support for controllers. If you have a rare or uncommon controller, visit the forums and they'll be very happy to help you.

  Cons: There are some official profiles for games that the developers have created, which is really just a bonus, but there could be more. Then again, you didn't buy this software to have profiles already made for you.

  There's some bias towards the Xbox360 Controller, which is probably going to be the most compatible controller to use with this program. One reason is that the developer uses this controller personally.
