This utility lets you trace the route of packages across the Web. Its interface is not so snazzy-looking, as with some analogous programs that draw the packet route on a world map. However, Ping Plotter's charts and its highlighting of pings in red let you instantly see bottlenecks. The program enables you to track average ping times, and you can set the monitoring period and the interval between pings. You can save results as plain text or as a snapshot of the program window. Ping Plotter Freeware will be of use to system administrators.

Developer's Description

Run Traceroute queries and get graphical results.
If your Internet connection has suddenly slowed to a crawl, chances are there's a ping test in your future. You could use the built-in Windows ping command to trace your packets across the Web, but why not try Ping Plotter Freeware instead? Unlike some of its snazzier competitors, it doesn't draw your packets' route on a world map, but it does provide a color-coded chart that lets you instantly spot bottlenecks in your connection. You can set the monitoring period and the interval between pings, and save the results as plain text or as a snapshot of the program window. Ping Plotter Freeware is a natural choice for sysadmins who would normally use Windows Ping, but it's also a good choice for occasional home troubleshooting.
