  Comes with the added bonus of Conduit and Savings Bull malware, plus BHO-ALX trojan. DO NOT DOWNLOAD unless you want the headache of removing it all!

  It dates the photos and allows you to chose the colors you want. It's free. I've been searching for 3 weeks for a program that is free and works.

• FAILED as it prints Modified Date and NOT Created Date

  Can position text using trial and error of XY units.

  Cons

  This software fetches the image modified date and imprints on to the photo. It is not programmed correctly. It should take the date from the EXIF data field Image Created Date. The programmer is obviously not a photographer; and does not know the difference between the two. Actual Font Size printed is not reflective of the Font Size chosen. You need to choose insanely large font size to get a small imprint.

  A. Why can't I just download a simple file and install it myself. I'm not an idiot. Why is there all this useless "downloader" added stuff that is completely uneeded and I consider malicious because it tries to change my browser settings, and hosed and crashed chrome with several tabs open. B. Tried to change many settings in my browser. C. Software converted a 768Kb file to a 159Kb file with a date stamp and degraded the quality of the picture. D. Software doesn't display the file I picked, the field was just black.

  Summary

  Make sure you have a backup of the picture files you want to date stamp, and be ready for the stamped files to be of significantly lower quality than the originals. Read the installation dialog closely, or your default search engine, your home page, and other browser settings will be changed. Cnet thinks you are an idiot and unable to manage and install a download on your own. Or better yet, fond something else to do this-and don't waste your time with this package.

  Free software.

  Cons

  The objective of using date stamp is to have the date picture is taken. However this software puts the date of the file but not the picture is taken. Should allow the user to pick datetime or Date only and preview option before rastering on the image.

  Summary

  The software is considered as a entry level CS(computer Science) semester project. I am sure author can implement these features easily which makes the software more sense. The effort the author put on is appreciated.

  Works really fast, puts the date on just where you want it, or you can default to specific location / font / color.

  Love the program, super simple to use. Just wish it would really do a date/time stamp like I thought it was supposed to do. if you only want a date stamp program, this program is what you need. I ran it on a Windows 7 64 bit version just fine. No installation needed, it's a stand alone program.

  when I used lower right is seemed to be off image, but when I used top left it was right on. At first font was to small to read and had to increase quite a bit to get a decent size

  Small and easy to use. It does put the time stamp in any position, any colour and font of your choice.

  It puts the date stamp on the photo in any position you want it.

  Cons

  It uses the Creation Date of the file instead of the Date Taken of the picture. If you run this program on the original jpegs directly from the camera, those two dates are the same, but if you run this program on the jpegs after editing, the date changes to the date you saved the edited image.

  This software does what it says almost too easily! I have been looking for weeks to find a program that will add dates to an entire folder. I have downloaded and tried many different programs, but none work as well and as simply as this one.
