Version: PdaNet for Handspring Treo 2.0
Pros: Easy to install and use.

Version: PdaNet for Handspring Treo 2.0
Pros: I think 'dail-up' is a misnomer for this application. It works much faster than a dial-up connection. Definitely a killer app for Treo smartphones. I am using "Sprint Treo 700p"
Cons: None so far.

Version: PdaNet for Handspring Treo 2.0
"Killer Palm App!!! One of the best ever!!"
Pros: I can hardly believe it. Sprint wants to charge $90/month for "unlimited" access via their sprint cards. 90/month per person. My real estate team would need almost $200/month on top of the $250/month we spend on mobile phones.
I am now cruising at ISDN speed in my car, both me and my business partner on our Treo 650's via bluetooth.
This program rocks! It's easily one of the best killer apps for the Palm ever!
Cons: I don't know of anything bad with this!
I guess only thing I can't make phone calls while on the net, but not a fault of the program, bandwidth issue.

Version: PdaNet for Handspring Treo 2.0
"I takes a lot to get me to buy and I paid happily!"
Pros: FAST! About 3x faster than dialup. Quick connection times(about 10 secs). Easy install. Saved my neck on many occasions so far!!
Cons: Must have Palm desktop installed (Palm desktop requires a current internet connection to install.) I have recieved error occasionally when trying to reconnect. But a quick reboot solves this.

Version: PdaNet for Handspring Treo 2.0
Cons: Numerous, and overwhelming bugs plague this software. Usually, after a computer reboot, I can manage a successfull connect to the internet. However, once I get disconnected from the internet (this happens randomly, or during heavy use, or after I have downloaded approx. 1-3 megabytes), the chances of successfully connecting without having various errors pop up are 1 in 3 tries. As long as it will connect 1 in 3 times, I'm not bad off. That is, until the system looses communication with the PDA modem entirely, or if another permanent bug spontaneously arises with dial-up networking, after which a reboot is necessary. These hard errors usually happen after about 3-4 disconnect/reconnects.
I have been trying to download a patch from fileplanet for the past 2 hours. Each time I get kicked off from the internet, I must re-sign in to Fileplanet, load 11 webpages worth of ads and navigation, just to start downloading the file again, after which I'm bound to be disconnected eventually.
Please note that the Treo 600 I have connects to the internet successfully with its built-in web browser every time, and never disconnects me. It is only through Pdanet that the problems arise.
