From JROK Games:

If you remember the '80s, chances are you remember playing a game called Pac-Man. PacPC is a free clone that brings the hungry yellow dot and even hungrier ghosts to your PC's desktop. Just as in the original game, the object is to speed around the onscreen maze, munching dots and the occasional bonus goody on the way. Avoid the ghosts at all costs, unless you munch out on one of those really big dots: only then are the tables turned on those meddlesome spooks.

Note: In February of 2000, there was an unauthorized release of this game that came with an installer. That release is not connected to JROK Games in any way. The installer changed your browser window to an advertising page and placed an advertising icon on your desktop. This problem has been corrected, and you may now download this game without any further disruption.

This free Pac-Man clone takes you right back to 1981, but doesn't really improve upon the original. PacPC looks almost exactly like the classic Pac-Man, with the original ghosts, fruit, power pellets, and "walka-walka" sound effects. However, we don't like that the entire gameboard won't stay on your screen, forcing you to scroll. In some tests, the music sputtered, and in others, our character was unresponsive at first. Don't expect any groundbreaking features, but you can at least increase the number of lives and disable the sound, which we'd recommend doing. Though PacPC isn't all that impressive, it will suit gamers who are short on cash and who seek a nostalgia trip.

Pros: Its the best clone of the original i've seen... with lots of customization! Very fast! Great going man!

"clasic look but freezes"

Pros: i like the good classic look of the original pac man. same great characters, and sound.

Cons: the sound is clasic and all that, but, it sounds scratchy and skips. the game freezes alot, and that pritty mutch will ruin it for you.tha screen is allso too big. and pac man dont move as fast as he did on the real arcade. takes out the hardness of it

Pros: Just like the original. The look and sounds good enough to enjoy.

Cons: Wish I could use my USB controller to play it...

Pros: well i dont have a working computer right now so i have to use the loves park libray.
my ccomputer will only work in dos mode.
so thats y i serch for dos programs.
