Publisher's description of Outlaws v2.0 patch
From LucasArts Entertainment:Play against other players when you download and install this patch for your Outlaws demo. For multiplayer action, you must have this patch as well as the Outlaws single-player demo. Please install the Outlaws demo first, then install the multiplayer patch in the same directory. This update patch includes support for 3D-accelerated graphics with 3Dfx video cards, support for 3D positional sound for those cards with the Aureal 3D sound chip (like the Diamond Monster sound card), and an alternate sound driver (multimedia sound) for those sound cards that are not DirectX compatible. You'll be able to engage in deathmatch-style play on one multiplayer level, and also play on the Internet Gaming Zone, a free multiplayer matchmaking service on the Internet.
