OnlineEye Pro is a small, easy-to-use TCP/IP protocol monitor that lets you see your exact throughput on both incoming and outgoing data, whether you're using a modem, a cable modem, DSL, or even a local network. OnlineEye Pro also lets you see how quickly your data goes from your computer to another computer on the Internet, and it will tell you how many other computers your data must go through to get there.

A zoomable and printable graph shows time and speed history, allowing you to see what Internet activity took place when you were away from the computer. Version 1.6 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

This small utility serves up a buffet of information regarding your computer's Internet connection. Installing the program was a curious affair that required us to download an additional application; we wondered why it didn't just come bundled with the program. At launch, Onlineeye Pro offers a detailed tutorial, then appears as a tiny but colorful graph that displays the speed at which your computer is receiving and sending information to the Web. We liked the fact you can change the graph's color, appearance, and transparency. Right-clicking the window or the system-tray icon lets you access the program's numerous features. Besides bandwidth speed, the utility supplies other information about your Net connection, including data pertaining to hosts, modems, and IP addresses. Onlineeye Pro also can monitor your child's Web-surfing time and automatically shut down the computer after a specific period has elapsed. If you've ever wondered if your ISP was providing all the bandwidth you pay for, this program can answer that question, plus quite a few more.
