From Richard Parr:

OneScan is a driver for Photoshop 2.5.1 or later. It functions as a plug-in within the application, allowing the user to drive an Apple OneScanner or Color OneScanner. In addition to its intended application, OneScan offers a useful workaround for a few other scanners: if you rename the plug-in to "Apple Color OneScanner," you can get the old OneScanners to work with the current OneScanner Dispatcher software that ships with the 600/27 and 1200/30 models.

Version: OneScan 1.1.1

"Doesn't seem to work w/OS 8.6"

Summary: Updated a G3 running 8.1 and working fine with a Color OneScan using the OneScan 1.1.1 plugin to OS 8.6. Scanning still works in grayscale, but as soon as I try to scan color, Photoshop produces a type 1 error.

"Works fine on Photoshop 5.5"

Summary: This save me from sending my old Apple Color One Scanner to the dump. Twain imports fine on Photoshop 5.5 on a MAC 8500 that has been upgraded to Sonnet G4. Unfortunately it will only preview documents in Acrobat 5.0 imports and then gives prompts ... read more >>
